What are your best kids soccer gear recommendations?

Cleats for those who can tie shoes? For those who can’t? Best shin guards? Best socks? What about those shin guards that slot in the socks? Are those good? Good gear to wear under uniform on cold days? And anything else you can think of! Looking for kids roughly 4-11.

We’ve always tried our cleats on at a sporting good store. Don’t get the shin guard socks. They don’t offer any ankle support and are just awful. We also like these elastic bands that go over the laces to keep them from getting untied during games. I can see if I can link them.

      • rachelThis is the BEST. I had no idea these existed. I coach my daughters U6 team and I have to retie shoes so often. I want to get this as a gift for our whole team.

I usually first try second hand sports good stores for seasonal cleats because my kids are young and growing fast

      • rachelWhat a fantastic idea! I didn’t even know those existed. Thank you!
