Do any of you have any good websites, or recipe books for diabetics? My hobby is pre-diabetic and I have never changed my diet to accommodate anything before. Any tips on foods that help?

I feel like a lot of diabetic-specific things aren’t always helpful…at least that’s how I’ve always felt as a type 2. If you focus on whole foods and cut out processed stuff, that’s the best way to start. You’re awesome for being supportive!

      • tarabearThank you. I should be better at not buying processed foods, but it is sooo hard.
      • Elliottmom4Oh, I totally agree! Trust me, that suggestion is coming from someone who very much struggles. ❤️

I really like this app https://apps.apple.com/us/app/klinio-health-weight-loss/id1511958049\ It gives you all your meals for the week and the recipes are pretty easy. You can customize your preferences and swap out recipes you don’t like with ones you’ll actually eat. And it creates a shopping list for the week.
You fill out some health information and it customizes the calorie count and all the macros without you having to worry about any of it.
