I have 3 boys: 11,9,7 and a girl who is 4. I’m just sick of stuff. what are good gift ideas that kids would still be excited about but that isn’t something that ends up lying around the house days later?

    • I love to get art supplies, notebooks, sketch books, snacks, play dough, kinetic sand, lip balm, makeup, family games, etc.—things that they will enjoy, but use up!

I like to do experiences: tickets to an event, or passes to a museum or zoo or something. We often also plan a fun little MLK weekend staycation/trip on the cheap, but make that part of our Christmas gifts. Helps give one more thing to look forward to to help with the inevitable slump after the magic of the holiday season. And always books!
